Burgundy Knit Tie

The color is exactly as it appeared on screen, which was more important to me. It's polyester and people say don't get polyester, but today's polyester is much better than the plastic of old (like halloween costumes). I took a risk buying it, but it is exactly like my silk blend tie.

Although I was hesitant to purchase a 100% polyester tie (previously I only purchased 100% silk or 100% cotton ties), I decided to try this tie. I couldn't be happier with her! I washed it by hand, then tumble dried it. It came out without any creases! Since I've been working from home, I feel like my other ties are a little too formal, because everyone seems so casual during team meetings or Skype meetings. However, this tie has a more casual side. (Probably too causal for me in the office, but when video chatting I think it's good). It's also not stiff like a regular tie, so I barely know I'm wearing it. In addition to this one, I bought the brown/blue one which has a slightly rougher texture. I like both. This one (burgundy red) is a little smoother. In any case, great ties. I will probably purchase other models (striper, etc.) In short, I couldn't be happier with this product and company.
