Burgundy Knit Tie

The color is exactly as it appeared on screen, which was more important to me. It's polyester, and people say not to buy polyester, but today's polyester is much better than the plastic of yesteryear (like Halloween costumes). I took a risk buying it, but it's exactly like my silk-blend tie.

Although I was hesitant to buy a 100% polyester tie (previously, I only bought 100% silk or 100% cotton ties), I decided to try this one. I couldn't be happier with it! I hand-washed it and then tumble-dried it. It came out without a single crease! Since I've been working from home, I feel like my other ties are a bit too formal because everyone else seems so casual during team meetings or Skype calls. However, this tie has a more relaxed feel. (Probably too casual for me at the office, but I think it's fine for a video chat.) It's also not stiff like a regular tie, so I hardly even know I'm wearing it. In addition to this one, I bought the brown/blue one, which has a slightly rougher texture. I like them both. This one (burgundy red) is a bit smoother. In any case, superb ties. I'll probably buy other styles (striper, etc.). In short, I couldn't be happier with this product and this company.
