To produce the brown tie with blue and white polka dots, we took a quick trip to the Amazon. We found that this facilitated the design process.

We were stunned when we found a spotted salamander perched on a small rock—we'd never seen anything like it!

Dazzled by its exotic spots and colorful features, we immediately thought, "This amphibian must be conceptualized as a tie." For days, we feverishly sketched; the brown polka dot tie is the result.
