      Bought to go with a white shirt and a charcoal wool suit for a funeral near Christmas. The deep red and bands kept this tie from being too bright for the occasion. It was beautiful, appropriate, good value and was able to be delivered in less than a week.

      This almost solid red tie is a bright, almost fire engine red that accents a black, gray, blue or navy suit like no other color can (at least not all of them). There is a slight diagonal stripe pattern, but it is made with the same color material, so it is subtle from a distance, and very beautiful up close. The tie is sewn well enough to allow for more complex and fabric-intensive knots to be tied, so people like me who prefer the Eldredge knot can rest easy.
