Inspired by Paul de Vivie, who had a simple start in life, this hand-woven navy blue tie is decorated with a bicycle print.

In 1881, Paul de Vivie, a twenty-eight-year-old man, bought his first bicycle. In 1887, de Vivie decided to dedicate himself to his passion; he sold his business and settled in Saint-Étienne, where he opened a bicycle shop and launched a magazine, Le Cycliste.
